' Colonial bridge  CGB-60                                      8' bridge CGB-96 with ball finial

The Colonial Garden Bridge is our new line of garden bridges with finial tops. Colonial garden bridges are built with Northern White  Cedar,  it has a double  rail design with three posts along with quarter round edge cedar caps. The solid boxed in cedar posts and the hand rail sets can be put together and attached to the bridge easily with galvanized bolts and nuts. All holes are pre-drilled.

The Colonial cedar wood garden bridges come in  5', 6', 8', and 10' lengths,  the width of the bridge from 32" to 48", making them one of the widest cedar wood bridge in the market. We use 2" thick cedar wood arc span to provide max load capacity for safety and good looks. The bridge deck is pre-assembled in the factory with interconnected  thick cedar planks, screwed in for heavy load capacity. Posts are solid boxed in cedar 3 1/2" by 3 1/2" wide by 30" high. Finished with premium Tung oil. Tung oil is one of the most stable natural in the world, it provide maximum protection to our bridges.

Key Features

  • Traditional arch garden bridge design with standard  cedar post cap.

  • Elegant cedar wood ball finials are available with extra cost.

  • We use full 2" thick White Cedar lumber to build our bridges gross span for heavy load capacity. 2x2 full size hand rail are box in the cedar posts. The solid box in cedar posts are 3 1/2" by 3 1/2" wide.

  • 2 inches thick cedar wood plank make up the bridges decking for 8' bridges and over, and 1" planks for 6' bridges and under. All decking boards are inter connected with wood towels and then glued and screw to the cross span to prevent loose boards from the  heavy foot traffic as well as the outdoor weather elements.

  • The side rails and posts are secured to the bridges using galvanized bolts and nuts.

  • Our bridges are Pre-Assembled in our factory assuring products integrity and quality. The bridge decking and two hand rails can be easily put together with simple tools.
